About Al Reuter

With over 50 years in real estate, Al Reuter has built a career defined by experience, relationships, and a genuine commitment to helping others. He is an active member of NAR, IAR, Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®, and the Northern Illinois MLS, staying connected to the industry he has helped shape over decades.

Al has been recognized throughout his career, including receiving the REALTOR® Forty Years Emeritus designation and being named Manager of the Year. He has also served as Past President of the Downers Grove MLS and as a board member for the DuPage Board of REALTORS®. His background includes managing a major franchise real estate firm, giving him a well-rounded perspective and deep industry insight.

Before entering real estate, Al served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a flight simulator instructor, experiences that reflect his strong work ethic and leadership.

A longtime Downers Grove resident, Al raised four children there with his wife of 57 years, Carol. Now living in Carillon, he remains active in the community, including his involvement with Rotary, where he previously served as President and led youth exchange programs. He is also a proud grandfather and great-grandfather.
