About Robert Edwards

Licensed since 2001, he brings over two decades of real estate experience along with a strong commitment to guiding clients through every step of the process. He is an active member of the National Association of REALTORS®, Illinois Association of REALTORS®, Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®, and the Northern Illinois Multiple Listing Service, staying connected to the latest industry trends and best practices.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Prairie View A&M University and holds the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) designation, along with relocation expertise. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his success, including awards for Top Listing Leader and Top Producer in Volume.

Prior to real estate, he worked in engineering with TELE Communications, providing technical support for switching systems—an experience that strengthened his problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

He is actively involved in his community, serving as Treasurer for the Innisbrook Homeowners Association. Originally from Texas, he has called Downers Grove home for the past 29 years. He lives there with his spouse, Ida, and is a proud father of three adult daughters. Known for his dedication, reliability, and thoughtful approach, he is committed to helping his clients achieve their real estate goals with confidence.
